clouds walked by
without a glance,
as I waited
and waited
for the rain,
a body caked
and burnt alive
in the scorching sun,
flames fanned tears
flowing through
the tender skin
of this -
now freshly tilled
porous,
moist earth.
without a glance,
as I waited
and waited
for the rain,
a body caked
and burnt alive
in the scorching sun,
flames fanned tears
flowing through
the tender skin
of this -
now freshly tilled
porous,
moist earth.
