Viewfinder

To capture
a memory,
a moment in time,
I look out,
I dream,
a picture in mind;
what I want to see
is what I often get -
the viewfinder shows
my mind's eye on test;
when I zoom in too much,
I lose sight of the whole,
when I zoom out too much,
I lose sight of the hole!
