The Talking Stick

we take turns
to be talking sticks,
gathering, sharing,
infinite learnings,
of countless lifetimes,
passed on in silence,
from one to another;
transient beings
we touch each others'
spaces of thoughts
and dreams that dare
to set us free
and lay us bare,
on the earth
from where we came;
just another name
in this game -
in this endless
circle of life.
