for just a while...
a dewdrop
on a dry leaf pile,
a bird on a branch
before it takes flight,
a raindrop that falls
before it runs dry,
a spark that lights
a warm fire at night,
the earth that binds
until a plant rises high,
Let me rest

before I hold on,
